The maximum Wenner-Gren Postdoctoral Research Grant is $25,000. Grants are non-renewable. The duration of the grant is not limited and applicants can apply for funding to cover different phases of the research (for example two years) as long as this is part of the research proposal.

Eligibility

Qualified scholars of any nationality or institutional affiliation are eligible for Wenner-Gren Postdoctoral Research Grant. Independent Scholars and Senior Scholars may apply. Individuals who are within 5 months of receiving a doctorate or equivalent degree may apply but must complete their degree before the start date listed on their application.

Applicants whose research focuses on primatology or primate conservation must demonstrate the wider anthropological relevance of their work.
