PSY610: Neurological Bases of Behaviour Handouts (PDF )

The master of all our lives in the brain that controls every aspect of behavior from molar to molecule — the atmosphere within a tiny cranium. Millions of neurons and glial cell cells, constantly shooting, lead to the immorality we see or experience. PSY610 Handouts pdf

PSY610: Neurological Bases of Behavior

Behavioral Interaction of the Brain

The area of psychology that seeks to understand how the brain affects behavior is known as biopsychology, although you may hear this topic called psychobiology or behavioral neuroscience.

There are many ways to look at brain behavioral interactions:

Descriptive

A study of the behavior and function of the brain as it occurs without interrupting ongoing processes. This gives one an idea of how behavior will take place under natural conditions.

A comparative, evolutionary perspective

This is used to determine when researchers want to continue between species and why and how changes in brain and behavior have occurred and where they lead. In addition, this also answers many questions that have been raised about ethics that can be answered with little or no animal research. Are evolutionary processes a continuous process? And if there are certain types of behaviors found in other species of animals and homoserine (human).

Developmental

How does the brain grow from maturity to maturity, old age, and death? What are the different stages of development? The question arises repeatedly as to whether or not the environment is genetically engineered or controlled, whether it be a biological and genetic program or an external stimulus that leads to development somewhere. Where things can go wrong or where nature meets nature. How many degrees of freedom do and when?

Experimental and/ or Natural Studies

Continuing research and research from natural sciences studies ranging from Joan Goodalls ‘monkey studies and Konrad Lorenz’s previous research to experimental / laboratory studies to brain fiction studies.

Molar and Molecular

The level of studies on internal brain analysis varies from studying the behavior of a large number of neurons or just one under a microscope. The molar theory focuses on network groups, neurons, or neuroanatomical areas while Molecular research focuses on individual units, single-cell, single-molecule, single dynamics, and brain behavioral relationships.

Range of Behaviors

Areas of brain / behavioral relationships that have been studied and researched range from simple to complex behaviors, as they are part of a series of human and animal behaviors.

Neuroscience

The most interesting place has grown rapidly in the last century. The 21st century is a century of brainwashing. In the mid-1970s, a neuroscientist, Valenstein, wrote the book Brain Control, which predicted the development of brain scans. Researchers are investigating how behavior is related to neuroanatomical localization, and neurochemicals and how behavior can be controlled by the deception of this and drugs and external “controls”.
