Statistics
Statistics is a branch of applied statistics that includes the collection, interpretation, analysis, and estimation of conclusions from quantitative data. At the moment the need to convert large amounts of data from multiple used fields into useful information has encouraged both mathematical and mathematical development.
Biostatistics
It is a mathematical field Research and application of theory and methods of analyzing data from random processes or events Research on how we make sense of data. Those analytical methods that have been found to be particularly useful and most common in the development and analysis of health and public health research have been termed biostatistics.
Data
Facts and statistics data were collected, analyzed, and summarized for presentation and interpretation. Data may be categorized as value or quality.
What Biostatisticians Do
Biostatisticians play one of the five major roles in public health work. It is their job to do a lot of research to see the health risks. They are biomedical researchers focused on solving public health problems. Biostatisticians are following a scientific approach to testing their theories for intensive research. Biostatistician specialists perform clinical trials, surveys, laboratory tests, focus groups, spatial surveys, and condition studies.
Survival Analysis
Survival analysis is concerned with the simulation of time-to-effect data, i.e. data where the significant difference in interest is the interval between the stated source and the probability of gain. An exciting event is often referred to as a result or end (other words include termination or intended event, or failure). Survival data may also be referred to as event-to-event data, lifetime data, failure time data, loyalty data, time data, or event history data. It comes mainly from medical, Social Science, and engineering programs.
Variables:
It is a factor that takes different values from different people, places, or things. Variables can be categorized as Quantity or as quality.
Quantitative variables:
Sometimes referred to as “numerical variables,” these variables represent a limited number. Examples include:
- Number of learners in the class
- Number of square feet in the house
- City population
Qualitative variables:
Sometimes called “class variables,” these variables take on words or labels and can be entered into categories. Examples include:
- Eye color (eg “blue”, “green”, “brown”)
- Gender (eg “male”, “female”)
- Types of dogs (eg “lab”, “bulldog”, “poodle”)
