The Australian Award scholarships to the long-term goals of promoting growth and stability in our region, as well as strengthening links between individuals and organizations to improve coherence and cooperation. They equip recipients with the skills and knowledge to drive change and contribute to the economic and social development of their countries, in fact, building the operational capacity of non-aligned countries within the agreed development areas.
The Australian Government has a large bursary program for foreign students and invests $ 200 million a year in programs at universities and other institutions of higher learning across the country. They provide opportunities for people from developing countries, especially those located in the Indo-Pacific region, to pursue full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.

Australia for ASEAN Scholarships
Australia’s ASEAN scholarships are a prestigious international award given to the Australian Government for the next generation of leaders from ASEAN member states. By pursuing a Master’s degree, recipients develop the skills and knowledge to drive change and help build lasting connections between people and people in Australia. Each ASEAN member state will receive “10 Australia ASEAN Scholarships”.
Australia for ASEAN scholars will also participate in the Indo-Pacific Emerging Leaders Program, which will provide a range of learning, networking, and professional development opportunities. For more than 70 years, the Australian Government has supported the education of emerging leaders from developing countries, from the Colombo Program in the 1950s to the modern Australian Awards.
Recently, the New Colombo Plan supports Australian graduates to live, work and study in the Indo-Pacific. These two academic exchanges support bilateral relations between Australia and the region and the international community by building lasting institutional and human links between people.

Scholarship recipients will receive:

Australia Awards opening and closing dates for study commencing in 2023
Applications for the 2023 Intake open on 1 February 2022 and will close at 11:59 PM AEST on Friday 29 April 2022. All online applications must be submitted in OASIS, with all relevant documents attached, by midnight Australian Eastern Standard Time on 29 April 2022.
How to apply?
Applications must be submitted online via the Online Australia Online Australia Scholarships Information System (OASIS) until 11.59 PM AEST on 29 April 2022. You will need to register and verify your eligibility before submitting your application. Applications and/or supporting documents received after the closing date will not be considered. The candidates who have applied for a previous intake round will already be registered in OASIS, and do not need to register again. If someone cannot remember his password, he will be able to reset his password by entering his email address, selecting Register New Account, and entering the answer to the ‘reminder question’.
